Guest thesleepingbarber Posted May 3, 2004 Report Posted May 3, 2004 Hi Folks, Does anyone know of a way (or piece of software) that will allow me to dial a contact from Outlook on my PC using some kind of Bluetooth profile? Ideally I want to be able to set my Laptop as an Audio Gateway/Headset for my phone (i.e. it uses the Laptop speakers and microphone) then select a contact in Outlook and just have it dial using the dial button in Outlook. Is this possible? Thanks for your help and time. Kind regards, Ken.
Guest Brody Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 Not sure if its quite what you're looking for but you could use the Active Sync Remote Desktop and control your phone via Bluetooth on your laptop. This would then allow you to dial a contact from your PC. I haven't had time to try the Audio Gateway Bluetooth function on my PC yet so let us know if it works!
