Guest awarner [MVP] Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 When you press the power button does the phone make a faint sound like white noise? If so this may work, I had a spare SPV with bootloader 0.93 Using a 64mmc card, in bootloader menu, select option 0. Save ALL Once you have done this and it shows passed, put the card in the dead SPV. Now press and hold the record button while pressing the power button. You should see Card Found and the canary screen displayed. Now you have the bootloader back and working, you can run any update to bring your phone fully back to life. This worked for me when I killed my E100 a few days ago, but your biggest problem is finding another phone with the bootloader you need to make the backup :?
Guest BrAGoL Posted May 5, 2004 Report Posted May 5, 2004 Using a 64mmc card, in bootloader menu, select option 0. Save ALL if he got a working E-100 with 0.93 bootloader...
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted May 5, 2004 Report Posted May 5, 2004 The only complete backup I used had the 0.93 bootloader on it. I have not had the chance to do furhter tests.
Guest DenXz Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 I've tried that already, but I think there's some orange OS still in the phone. I read that orange ignores booting on card that's why i cannot boot on my card. Is there any other way??? please help me
