Needed orange backup (action engine)

My Orange backup is gone, is it possible to install it again, without loading new ROM? If so, where can I find the files etc.?

you say its "gone" do you mean from the Programs (Start) menu? if so that is only a shortcut, the actual app is held in Windows on the phone ;)

If you have managed to delete the exe (AEBackup.exe) from the Windows directory, it should be restored on a reboot and then you can just recreate the shortcut in your start menu :D

as a last resort you can do a hard reset it should reappear, but please note doing so will remove all your personal data ie contacts and messages!

Hmm actually, I've installed the Qtek 8080 ROM, and now it would be great to download the contacts, calender etc. that I've backup before the rom replacement. My Outlook crashed, so all my numbers are stored on the server..... Anyway, if its not possible (cant get the files and place them in the windows dir) I've to load the Orange Rom again, download the data, sync with outlook, and reinstall the qtek 8080 Rom. :-(

But that could be the last solution.....

I really think that the Qtek Rom, performs allot better :-)

AEB_orangedk_dk.dll

AEBackup.exe

AECommon.dll

No Warez.exe

AELock.exe

AEUpdate.exe
