Orange giving away free camera with MPx200

In the May 2004 Orange brochure, it says that you get a "Free camera accessory with every motorola MPx200" 8)

(Sorry if it's old news but I did a quick search and couldn't see anything, and I tend not to keep up to date on the MPx200 :oops: )

damn it! really want to wait for the next gen phones (mpx100/sagem) but my contract just ran out and my original spv is looking and feeling pretty dated. how much faster is the response on the moto? do menus open faster etc? :?

The MPx200 is great, but the camera sucks the huge one. If you want a camera, you can do tonnes better than this!

just found this as well. you can get 50 quid cash back if you buy a moto mpx200 from the carphonewarehouse.

Do you know if this will be available with upgrades?

As i've been told that Orange Customer Services that i can go straight into an Orange shop and upgrade to the MPx200 for free on the 12th.

Are Orange going to keep the existing fees for the phone then? In my local Orange shop they have the mpx200 for free on contracts £25pm or over and on anything less its £49.99.

The same thing is with the spv e200 but its £99.99 for contracts under £25, im on everyday 50 and i want an spv e200 for free but dont wanna lose my tariff :D

It's a shame the guy who designed the camera/phone decided it was a cool idea to plug the camera into the slot used by the memory card....

hopefully lessons have been learned and besides, if what we read is true, new mobiles are on the horizon which have built-in 2 megapixel cameras. where is it gonna stop?
