Destra’s CEO, Mr Domenic Carosa said, “As the mobile phone increasingly becomes a multifunctional communication and mobile entertainment device, GoConnects m-Vision provides DestraMusic with the “early mover” advantage in new service delivery for the mobile phone industry.”  

GoConnect’s exclusive patented technology works by delivering high quality content without interfering with your download traffic by using the “vacant” space within the bandwidth.  

GoConnect’s CEO, Mr Richard Li said, “Online music consumers buy music on a per download basis where every purchase is a separate decision to make. Our technology will help to increase their online music purchases by motivating the consumer to buy.”  

Customers will also be able to access the free music sampling service, Music EV, on their PC by downloading the free GoTrek EV software from www.gotrek.com.au  

Users of the Microsoft Windows Mobile powered Smartphones and Pocket PCs will download GoConnect’s software at www.m-vision.tv to watch the music video clips for a subscription fee.  

The free sampling service will deliver a regular selection of 30-second music samples from the current chart in both video and audio formats and can be played by the customers on demand from a play list.  

The ability of GoTrek EV and m-Vision to deliver music samplers directly to the consumer’s desktop or Windows Smartphone, will enable the DestraMusic-GoConnect partnership to work even more closely and effectively with music labels in joint marketing campaign for any artist they intend to promote.  

The partnership between the two companies also involves GoConnect establishing its own branded online music retail store, Music EV Online, as a re-branded service of DestraMusic offering at present over 200,000 music titles and targeted to be expanded to over 500,000 titles by mid 2004.  

Music EV Subscription service will provide full-length music videos of the most popular titles available to the customer for multiple plays for a set period of time on Microsoft Windows Mobile powered Smartphones and Pocket PCs.
