Welcome to the site :)

You need to press and hold the action button then press the power button.

What is happening when you do this?

What network are you using the phone on and in what country?

As this is the correct way to do a hard reset on the MPX200 unless moto

have suddenly made an alteration in their new batch.

When you press the buttons, you should have the option at the bottom

of the screen to Master Reset with the soft keys Yes and No

I've noticed that sometimes it doesn't work, its probably just a matter of trying again and again...

Yes, it finally worked. Freaked me out a bit thou as it said Format IPMS (or something like that) without any progress bar after the Formatting Flash finished.

Eh... how to get my MMS setting back? Last I remembered, there was this MMS Manager installed. Now it disappeared.

You have to reinstall the jmms app from the cd that came with the phone.

Alright done. :) Thanks for all your help!

I've heard some users have experienced rapid battery discharge after performing a hard reset. How true is that? I certainly hope that it doesn't happen to my set.

I have done a Hard Reset a few times now and never had a battery issue.
