Bluetooth / infrared woes with Ipaq 5450

Well, I have my e200 working fine as a bluetooth dialup device ( after the orange update), but I have huge problems with my ipaq 5450 disconnecting from it all the time.

I downloaded the driver update for the Bluetooth in the ipaq, but it has made no difference at all.

Every few minutes ( if I'm lucky ) the Bluetooth in the ipaq seems to hang

and I have to perform a soft reset of the machine.

As I was getting pretty fed up I decided to try the infrared port.

I tried enabling the beam on both my ipaq ( which is pocketpc 2003 ) and the e200. If I click the "recieve intcoming beam" on the ipaq it finds the phones name, but sits there doing nothing.

Certainly whenever I try and dial a modem connection over generic irda it fails.

Anyone have any ideas?
