Help: Cracked display and can't read messages....

Hi, I have a cracked display and cannot read my messages, is there anyway of reading them with active sync. I can't use any of the remote programs as the need activating with the phone (or is there one that doesn't). Also, can one of you bright people device a way for me to hard reset with a blank screen, either an app or blindly pressing buttons in a specific order. any help is much appreciated.

get the trial of this program, it doesnt require you to run anything on your phone, although i think it does install something but that wont affect you. It will then dowload all your sms. as for hard reset, i think for the e200 thats just the same as cleaning the storage which you can do from one of the menus (dont have an e200 so dont know what key combination it is). Someone else will have to help out

Thanks for that but i can't get the trial to work, it says I have 0 days trial left and I've only just downloaded it LOL

try setting your system date on your pc a few days back perhaps, you only need to use it once

Nope, doesn't work, I'm trying this at work and getting the same results, must be something wrong with the downloaded file..... :)

Tried that be with no joy, tried it at with the same result on one pc, then tried installing it without my phone being docked and it works...... Thank you very much, I am a happy man once more. now if someone can do a step by step clear storage for me, I'd be even happier. my menus are fairly unchanged and I'll know if it works if my ring tone changes to default.

if you can get a spare e200 the screen is pretty straight forward to change once you get the cover off, that is if you cant get it done under warrenty/insurance

try searching on ebay or on here for damaged e200s, you might get one cheap if its totally unusable for some reason, but gotta have a good screen. Come to think of it, whos the guy who does the sim unlock for e200 its florin_m i think. He had to trash a few e200s to be abele to figure out the sim unlock thing, maybe he still has some...
