Guest Odd Posted May 9, 2004 Report Posted May 9, 2004 Hi All! For you guys who don´t want to use a service that probably will cost money in the future - try this: http://easymoblog.sourceforge.net/ It´s a very cool blog that is very easy to install on any unix or windows website that supports PHP. To post images/text to this blog you just send it an email! It generates thumbnails and updates itself without any weird plugins or cron´s - it´s all coded in pure PHP. It´s totally FREE. Open source. And looks good too :) So - head over there and take a look at it - there´s a demo of it up´n´running  Peace
Guest Uzay Posted May 11, 2004 Report Posted May 11, 2004 is it just me, or is that entirely something else???? lavasoft provides wireless moblogging, i can't see how you are going to do the same with some kind of moblog server open source bla, so instead of paying for a small service, you need to have a dedicated server with a dsl connection, licenses, and then, even then you can't upload a picture, video directly from your spv.... yeaah... good comment

As for Atomiclava....cool interface, but not what I was looking for at all.
Guest wgoodf Posted May 16, 2004 Report Posted May 16, 2004 or http://www.textamerica.com its email to send the pics, but it works its free and they have a bunch of templates to make your site.
Guest nickcornaglia Posted May 16, 2004 Report Posted May 16, 2004 Tried easymoblog. Although the developer tried very much to help me set this up on my server. He solved some problems but I still had nothing but troubles and couldnt get it to work thru email. Something must be up with my specific hosting. TextAmerica is cool...but since they added all the adds, it's not for me. I'm working on my own on my personal site using MovableType and so far it's going very well.
Guest Brody Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 Phlog is good, supports MMS and E-Mail submission, check out Phlog in my signature! :)
Guest BrAGoL Posted May 19, 2004 Report Posted May 19, 2004 @Brody er, how can we see it if we're using mobile? Posted from my SmartPhone!
