Guest kobukan Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 I have a couple of great ringtones. But I am trying to get rid of the 3 sec delay. I have used the registry editor. No go. It reverts back to the original settings. I have been told I can edit the xml file in my profiles. Ok. But I can't copy the file to my pc. Each time I try I get an error message saying, my mobile doesn't have enough memory, the file may be read only, make sure you have permission to copy the file. Can anyone help please. This is driving me mad. :x
Guest kjk Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 have you tried this tweak by midnight Open the registry editor: HKEY_CURRENT_USERControlPanelSoundsRingTone0 Select 'Values' And modify 'Script' by removing the w3 (eg. change 'av0pw3r' to 'av0pr')
Guest kjk Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 you can also try to use any notepad and edit xml on your phone
Guest kobukan Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 Yes I have tried midnights tweak but it doesn't hold for some reason. I don't have a notepad editor on my phone. Where can I get one? Thanks. (sorry a newbie)
