Cheapest MPX200 ??

Where can I buy the cheapest (either pay as you go , or sim free) MPX200 . I've been looking on ebay but as you probably know you have to be really carefull on there . (I'm in the UK btw , but I do think an Unlocked US handset would work over here anyway)

I've found it for £249.99 at MobileShop...

and £240 at Expansys

you will probably be able to find cheaper on ebay tho, just make sure the seller has good feedback and the description of the phone is accurate :)

but a US one wouldn't work in the UK as the rom doesn't enable it to :lol:

I think the AT&T one in the US disables a band or something so it doesn't work in UK...?

The AT&T MPX200 will still work in the UK :)

AT&T have disabled the 900 MHz band (God knows why) but this still leaves 1900 & 1800 bands - dual band

In the UK, Orange and T-mobile are completely GSM 1800 and O2 and Vodafone are mainly GSM 900 but also have a small allocation of 1800 frequencies.

BTW the fourth band is 850 but is sometimes refered to as simply 800.

Yeah thanks ... coincidentaly Ijust saw that as well !! But I'm buying one off my friend a la my other topic for just over £100 :)

I just got one from expansys b-stock which had been returned to them for the grand price of £147 including next day delivery.

No more left but worth keeping an eye on.
