Best app to install is Task Manager from www.Binarys.com

This is the best way to view your memory status on the phone and storage card.

For example I have 10.29MB on my IPSM storage but only 6.28 free.

First thing I did was to Hard Reset my mpx200 to remove all the preinstalled apps. Once that has been done you can then

reinstall from the cd and place them on the SD card instead.

The only app you cannot place on the card is the jmms app, If you do you

will have SMS problems.

Also I did not install the jmms as it temds to slow the phone down and I do not send or recieve mms.

To hard reset, hold down the blue Action button while turning the phone on. Click on the words >> Hard Reset << for more info.

As for your storage space- bear in mind that your phone also has it's operating system installed; I presume this is what's taking up the majority of the 7.5 meg. If you've got 10 meg free, I really wouldn't worry about it- my MPx200 has 2.75Mb free at the moment and it gives me no problems.

I would recommend getting a decent sized storage card though (I find 128Mb is more than enough)- particularly if you want to use your phone for music and videos.
