Guest oztexs Posted May 11, 2004 Report Posted May 11, 2004 Hi All, I have a issue with my QTek 7070 running Smartphone 2002. Recently when i try to install a application from windows onto the phone, i briefly get a message on the phone stating " installing " then it disappears suddenly and nothing is installed. This is the case for any application. However cab files install okay from accessories folder. any ideas ???? :?:
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted May 11, 2004 Report Posted May 11, 2004 What is the name of the file you are trying to install? Make sure its for Smartphone2002. :) Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest oztexs Posted May 11, 2004 Report Posted May 11, 2004 it doesnt matter what i try to install .. they all fail. the programs that worked before dont work now. i never get the option of install to storage card .. it just fails after a few moments.
Guest kjk Posted May 11, 2004 Report Posted May 11, 2004 check IPSM/Windows/AppMgr/Install and delete every thing in install folder and try again

Guest awarner [MVP] Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 Back to the initial problem, this normally happens when you so not have enough physical memory free. Have you tried closing any apps etc you may have running in the background? It's also worth installing Task Manager from the binarys site as well.
