Guest ncolli1981 Posted May 12, 2004 Report Posted May 12, 2004 Why can't I send video clips taken on my SPV E200 via MMS ? Whats the dealeo ? I though I had one of the most advanced handsets on the market ? am I doing somethin wrong ?

Virtually every other "smart" phone that can record video, does so in .3gp format, which is a worldwide standard for sending by MMS. The E200's video files are enormous by comparison, and so even if you could attach them to an MMS (you can with 3rd party software) they'd be too big to send by MMS, and other phones wouldn't be able to play them back :) The daft thing is that you can receive video MMS messages in .3gp format no problem, and they playback in IA's Multimedia Album :?
