problems playing a series of mp3/wma files

guys..i've got a problem while playing mp3/wma songs in windows media player.it plays fine when i played one song but come to the next it started to skip or distort along the track.by opening and closing the flip of my mpx would temporary solve this prob..at least until the next track..so i have to open and close the flip for every track..which is very annoying.i didn't have this prob b4 until recently.is it because i've downloaded too much tracks(abt 50)...i've closed all applications b4 playing the songs..still did not help.anyone have the same prob?any advice would be greatly appreaciated.thx.

btw...i'm using mpx200 with 512mb scandisk sd card.
