hi all,

i brought myself a Qtek 7070 last month and ive been having a couple of issues that i would like to solve.

here are a few questions.

1. If iam running file system 3.0.13101.0 .. is that upgradable ? is anything to do with the o/s upgradable ?

2. Is 6.19Mb of available memory enough to install applications. At the moment i am unable to install any application.

3. Is 12.53Mb of main memory too limited.

4. If perform a hard reset will that help.

and finally 5. i only seem to have 1.5mb of storage remaining on my main memory, although i started off with 7mb i have nothing left on the phone that uses all that storage .. WHERE DID IT ALL GO !!

Anyone that can provide any help, i will be very thankful.

cheers,

oz

:)

Best to check on the qtek website. i cannot keep up with the latest releases, hopefully a qtek owner will be able to help you with this.

2. Is 6.19Mb of available memory enough to install applications. At the moment i am unable to install any application.

that really depends one the applications, for example pocketgolf is 7megs, so that would cause you issues, unless you installed on a sd/mmc card.

3. Is 12.53Mb of main memory too limited.

that's more than i have available!

4. If perform a Hard Reset will that help.

Well it will clear everything to the 'out of box' state. all emails/sms/contacts etc will be gone.

the main reasons for loss of total storage is usually emails..(even large numbers of send items.)
