Phone Update

I haven't been keeping up with all things phone of late (hangs head in abject shame) but it is coming round to update time, Yay! I only ever got the SPV E100 as a toy and I am kinda bored with it now and would like a new toy. So, what is the cutting edge of phones at the moment or to come in next few months? Don't like clamshells so needs to be a normal phone. My primary use is as a phone but the SPV has meant that I now MUST have full access to the internet on the move. Anyone know if any Nokia phones (i.e. not communicator) can browse the 'net? Other thing I need is voice dialling, so I guess that counts the E200 out? Is there an E300?

Well, there is the Motorola MPx100 coming in the second half of this year with it's 1.3mp camera with flash :lol:

And also MPx220 sometime...but that is a clamshell so guess you don't want that...

And there is specualtion about an E300, being a kinda mix of E200 and original SPV :)

There's also a Sagem coming out...but don't know much about it yet.

Actually I made a massive, but I assume safe, assumption that Orange haven't got the voice dialling thing together? No? Thought not. Business tool, my eye!

Ok, perhaps I was being a little disingenuous. A bit annoying that I have to pay extra for a third party solution for something that should be standard functionality for what is primarily a phone. Particularly in the days of criminilsing people for using a phone whilst driving. Quite rightly in my opinion but surely Orange need to sort this out as a matter of urgency?
