beta software - need help testing-alternative sync software

i need help testing an app i am working on. its designed to use gprs to sync with. itll have a custom activesync like app later, but for now, its just a ftp server on the phone so u can browse/upload files etc (should be able to use IE)

im having troubles testing it (since my dock doesnt work - the inspiration behind making it)

if you guys could tell me if u get any joy, ill appreciate that.

How does it work ? I launched the .exe but nothing appered ??

should pop up and tell you your ip and say 'server started' in which case you connect an FTP to it.

I don't have any popup nor something else..

i have an unsigned E200 and tested with gprs on and off

might have to be unlocked??--ill have a play with this later.

Wouldent it be easier to have an FTP on the computer and browse to it using the phone?? or even a simplified web server on the computer (apache for windows?) so you could browse to your own personal page?

You could even add to this and get your computer to email its IP address when it changes (if its dynamic).

just some ideas
