Qtek 7070 for use on Cingular USA

Hello,

Could anyone give me any information on using a Qtek 7070 on the Cingular network in the USA. They will not allow me to activate it even though I already have an account with them as it is not a Cingular sold phone. Also where to get ringtones and screens for it (specifically baseball). I have tried the Cingular site as they have what I want but it will not download to the Qtek phone.

Also having trouble sync'ing to my computer.

Click on GPRS settings and you will find the Cingular data on page5 :)

What problems do you have with syncing ?

Have you tried downloading activesync 3.7.1 from HERE

Another dumb question but I didnt get any information with this phone and would like to know how to change from lower case to upper case as well as use things like .,/;:. I can get it to work in some of the lines but not always.

Hi James

You can press (or press and hold) * key to change input method. See top right of screen when changing.

Press and hold # key to get special character set.
