Defective ROM

I was wondering what went wrong with my sap. there is no power if i remove the charger. the phone will not on, but if i connect the charger my sap will turn on. why? The Brightpoint technical people says that the ROM is defective. they are advising me to change the board and the cost is P 17,+++ very expensive! im using qtek 1.5.0.9.1 please do help me what to do? thanks

If the phone will power on to the canary screen then try running

the update for your phone, this may sort your problem out.

i can turn the phone on but the charger must be connected. I can proceed to the canary screen. what update should i install? is there a way i can return it back to smart ROM from qtek ROM? thanks for your reply, im badly desperate please help...

go to canary screen and run rom update that you have on your phone qtek 1.5

did you already try to use a different battery?

you can return back to smart rom... but you need to downgrade your bootloader first... i can help you downgrade it...

what version is required for the bootloader? how can i return from qtek rom to smart rom? please be kind. i am spending 30.00 per hour just to go to internet cafe and get your valued reply. if possible i need to have the links for the files to download and the procedure. thanks to all

1. go to canary screen on phone and connect to pc

2.run qtek 1.5 if don't have qtek 1.5 download HERE

3.after upgrade to qtek 1.5 go to canary screen

4. run rom upgrade you want and follow instruction on pc screen

if qtek rom 1.5 you have on your phone is working as normally so just go to canary screen connect you phone to pc and run upgrade you want

just press and hold rec button and turn on your phone to get to canary screen
