Guest midnight Posted May 15, 2004 Report Posted May 15, 2004 LivingPictures for mobile phones is a dramatic improvement in communication from SMS messaging. Quick and and easy to use, LivingPictures automatically transforms any 2D digital photograph from your inbuilt camera into a 3D talking character. LivingPictures allows you to take a photo and simply locate features such as the eyes and mouth. Use the inbuilt recording facility to record your message, and you’ve created your own 3D talking messenger! The whole creation process takes no more than 30 seconds and files can be saved for future use. The resulting, postcard-style "Living Picture" can then be sent as MMS messages to most colour screen handsets. The recipient phone does not need a pre-downloaded application - LivingPictures also contains the player. The application is only 200k in size and created files are around 30k (depending on the size of the voice message). LivingPictures creator tool is currently available on Symbian, Series 60 and MS Smartphone devices with Java and BREW versions under development. For more information see here
