Mio8390 encountering some problems

Hi,

Anyone can help?

My Mio8390 constantly showing no network and i have to restart it for it to search the network again.

Is there any setting i can make to solve this?

Occasionally it willl show 'No SIM Card' also. Is there something wrong with the phone? or my set is faulty and should i send back for servicing?

I did email to Mitec regards my problem, they ask me to check with my service provider instead. But normally when my old phone cannnot get any network, it will auto search for it after a while, but mio8390 does not. It remain no network until i restart it!

PLs help.....anyone!

yah i did,

Automatic detect network right?

i'm using STarhub in singapore.

No problem when i was using my NOKIA.

There's also cases of the phone not able to receive SMS.

When i switch the sim card back to nokia phone, all the old sms came in.

Did anyone have this problem before?

If I were you I'd check the sim card socket, remove the card, take a look at the pins, reinstall the sim card and check if everything is fine then.
