Guest mrdanne Posted May 16, 2004 Report Posted May 16, 2004 Hello. I have notice in the past week that Outlook XP sometimes says that some program is trying to access my email addresses, this happens when there has been any changes in SmartPhoneNotes. If I choose NO the item will become unresolved!? Any ideas why this occurs? Translations of the picture: A program is trying to gain access to email addresses stored in Outlook. Do you allow this? If this is unexpected it can be a virus, and you should choose No. Allow this for 1 minute ActiveSync 3.7.1 Build 4034 SmartPhoneNotes 1.2 /DanielSmartPhoneNotes - Outlook.JPG
Guest mrdanne Posted May 18, 2004 Report Posted May 18, 2004 Got an answer from Syncdata: Hello, this is an unfortunate side effect of the increased security features of Microsoft Outlook; even if SmartphoneNotes synchronization module is not doing anything with email addresses, every access to notes folder returns this message. We are aware that is annoying and we are working on a solution, but it requires a major redesign of our ActiveSync provider, so it's not possible to give you a release date..
