Hello ppl:),

I got a spv classic but i cant put any ringtones, wallpapers into my spv, i can play mp3 files but thats it:(, is there any1 who can help me out? Even with manual i can get out of it and is there a way to put the ringtone alot higher? i already put it on loud but it isnt loud enough:(, i hope somebody can help me out:) Thankx for the help:)

Why can't you put ringtones & wallpapers onto your phone ?

Have you got ActiveSync installed on your PC ?

I've installed everything from the cd, but am unable to get my ringtones in, i have them in but cant put them as 'playing'ringtone':( i have also put some pic's of my family what i have on my pc but cant put them as wallpaper, what am i doing wrong?

Where are you putting the files? For ringtones they need to go in the storageapplication datasounds directory, as for the pictures, they should go in the storagemy documents directory. Hope this helps

dont want to go down the do a search route....but you should really do a search. seriously! for games some install on windows some on the phone. it will take time.

is your phone app unlocked? put the ringtones into the sound folder likethe person above says but make sure you make the sound folder. make sure the files are either .wav (mono) or midi and not polophonic.

for pictures like the above person said put them in my documents or better still get a picture manger program like ia photo which scans & thumbnails all the pictures on phone. Also smartexplorer is good for copy/paste searching file/folders etc

It worked, but now i have a new problem i think its my spv classic but is it normal for active sy 3.7.1 or active syc 6 ( what i have on cd orange cd) that it wont back up any files? And thank you all for your advise and help:)

You can copy & paste your My Documents etc, but not everything.

For that I would recommend Sprite backup software.
