dead spv

i've a dead spv phone, it died due to 9v alimentation instead of 5v (damn custom alimentator)..

i'm not sure if the phone is died or battery is died...someone can tell me if the phone normally works WITHOUT battery, only attached to the carger?

Yes

If you remove the battery the phone should still boot up from the charger.

the phone should boot without the battery but with the charger, but will often die after a few seconds. Havent figured out why yet.

If you want rid of the phone i will offer a fair price for it?
