Media Player on E200 randomly misses end of tracks

I have got a irritating problem since updating the ROM to the latest version on my Orange SPV E200.

My windows Media Player now skips the end of my MP3's randomly. If you re-play the track which media player missed the end of, it will normally play the entire song indicating it is not a problem with the file itself.

I have contacted Orange - one person said I need to speak to Microsoft, another said Wireless Tech Support will get back to me - I will not hold my Breath! :)

I use my phone as an MP3 player alot of the time and not having a FF/RW control means when it skips halfway through a 1 hour mix I have to start from the very start again.

I would ideally want to downgrade the ROM as I preferred it prior to the upgrade in almost every way (apart from call quality and a marginal improvement in battery time) but have not found where to obtain it yet.

Mine does the same thing, although they play fine on my pc. Try using a different player. Pocket MPV is a good one.
