Guest rainbowsend Posted May 18, 2004 Report Posted May 18, 2004 I have just upgraded from the original SPV to the E200. I am sure there was a number in brackets indicating how many messages were in each folder - In, Sent, Deleted on the SPV. This was very useful for keeping track of how many SMS messages that i had sent each month. This does not appear to be a feature on the new OS on the E200. Have i missed something or is there a counting utility available ? Many thanks
Guest rainbowsend Posted May 18, 2004 Report Posted May 18, 2004 Thanks for that. Perhaps I did not explain myself very well. On the SPV you could go to the SMS Folders view : Deleted Items | Drafts | Inbox | Outbox | Sent Items , if you then selected one of those, Sent Items for example, that folder would open with those files but with the number of files in brackets on the top line. Perhaps my memory is not what it was. If it is as i remember then it was a useful way of determining how many texts I had sent that month - invaluable when you are limited to a set amount a month. Is there any way of doing this on the E200.
Guest blewer Posted May 18, 2004 Report Posted May 18, 2004 The number in brackets was the unread messages in that folder. I just tried on my original SPV. It's a bit of a pain but you could just mark all your messages as unread then it would calculate all of them. I do this with my MMS meassages to keep track of my 20 a month free.
