Strange request, my phone fell out of my car

Well my phone fell out of my car when i was moving and it is convinced it has headset plugged in. It is a bit damaged, but I was wondering if there was a registry key for making headphone not require headphones, or turning it off?

I can't answer your query but would love to hear the story of how your phone fell out the car whilst you were moving! Or am I just being insensitive now ;-)

The headset requires a hardware switch and this fault is a known preoblem with the SPV, the only perminant solution is

to have the phone repaired but in the shrt term you can try

things from blowing in the socket to poking a cocktail stick in

to try and reseat the switch.
