Guest pornflakes Posted May 18, 2004 Report Posted May 18, 2004 how to i install home files? it is only saying there is no application with (the name).run the application and then open this file inside the application.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted May 18, 2004 Report Posted May 18, 2004 Are you refering to homescreens? If so they should be .hme format place the file in IPSMWindowsStart Menuaccessories (if you have 2003 OS replace IPSM with Storage) Once you have done this go to Accessories on your phone and run the file from there.
Guest pornflakes Posted May 19, 2004 Report Posted May 19, 2004 no its aint work its a zip file but when i unzip it its a xml file.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted May 19, 2004 Report Posted May 19, 2004 It is not a zip file, I'm guessing you have Win ME as it does not always identify files extensions correctly making them look like zip files.
Guest Disco Stu Posted May 19, 2004 Report Posted May 19, 2004 no its aint work its a zip file but when i unzip it its a xml file. Surely just copy & paste the .xml file into Storage (or IPSM) Application Data Home and then select in Settings.
Guest Taoski Posted May 19, 2004 Report Posted May 19, 2004 Or maybe its a CAB file. If you have WINRAR installed, you can double click and open the CABs and look inside (hello....... anybody in there.....?). If it is a CAB file, then follow awarners first set of advice above.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted May 19, 2004 Report Posted May 19, 2004 As I posted above, if you are using home themes for example from this site they are .hme format which should not be extractedunzipped as they are designed to be a self installer.
