SMS Message Display on MPX200

Something strange has happened to my MPX200200.

It constantly tells me that I have 2 new SMS messages, even when I delete my entire inbox.

I think something happened during activsync to cause this but Im at a loss as to how to fix it.

Is there a registry setting or some other way that will reset this for me.

If you also get notification when you power up the phone then you have the infamous Phantom SMS
