Unable to receive using bluetooth

Can you tell me how to transfer files to my SPV E200. I can connect to all devices with bluetooth and send files successfully, other devices can connect to me and be paired successfully but when someone tries to sends a files via bluetooth, it either says "FTP service unavailable" or "Unable to connect", any ideas. I have it on discoverable etc...everything is right and I just can't work it out. I keep getting told that I can use create a modem connection to my laptop etc, I know that...I just want to know whats missing, why cant I receive anything via bluetooth....

Don't ask me why, but you have to go into "Settings", "Beam" and tick the box "Receive Incoming Beams" :?

Also, this seems to sometimes stay ticked, and other times untick itself :?

I'd turn it off after you've used it, as it turns the infrared on and drains the battery :lol:

(Why you need to turn infrared on to receive via bluetooth is beyond me :? )

i tried that just in case but i still get the same problem, orange tech support or orange monkeys tried and couldnt either....but they did'nt know if it was supposed to work or not...have you managed to receive files via bluetooth

ignore me, i just tried again and it worked...it seems to be a bit of a hit and miss with this phone but hopefully a future ROM update will make it a little better
