CHANGING THE CARRIER NAME ON MPx200 | AT&T

Is there anyway to change the "AT&T Wireless" you see on the top left of the MPx200 screen when you are in service? I saw the option on RJV RegTweaks UI but it was obviously for European networks. Anybody know if this could be done?

Example: While in service it now says AT&T Wirless, could I change it to say for example dirtysugar.net?

It can be done with Custom Cabbage but I have found that it only works some of the times and gets reset on a reboot :?

But they don't have AT&T...they are all european carriers... I need to find one that will work with AT&T (USA)

Copy whatever Homescreen your using to your PC and change the name by adding .txt to the end. You will find a plugin near the top change it like this: copy it back - but save your original so you have the code.

Hey, I did what you said to do, but it isnt working. I took simple.home.xml I think is what its called, copied it to my desktop, changed it to .txt, editied the line with the code you put, saved it as a text, then changed it back to .xml and placed it back in my windows folder, but nothing happened???

Did you reselect the modified XML file from the list in homescreen and Than hit the Home button. The screen should give you the little circle as it refreshes. That should do it. My phone is an ATT ROM. That is the plugin for the Carrier. You need to reselect the modified XML. To get the right one change the name in the XML code near the top to

<?xml version="1.0"?>

Hey bro, can you post your .xml file so I can see exactly what you did, so I can jsut copy yorus and change what I need to change for mine and then just throw it back into the windows folder and the ispmapp datahome folder.

no i mean the operator code, ie in the uk vodaphone is:26202 thisway it works on any homescreen!

only code i can find for at&t is 310380 which seems too long.

Any ideas let me know.

BTW: 26202 is not UK. 262 means Germany, 02 means provider #02 which is Vodafone in Germany.
