Fast Forward in Media Player

Is it just me or is there no button to fast forward. This is very annoying when i have to endure a 40 minute bus ride to and from school which could be made much more fun if i could watch a film. So when i watch the first half on the way there and then come to watching the second half on the way back it is impossible because the pause button doesnt 'pause' for the 6 1/2 hours i am in school.

Does anybody have any ideas about a fast forward button or any other media player for SPV E200 that will do this. I play WMV's if thats of any use.

You're best bet is to try Beta player from here (official site but temporarily down) or there's a mirror here.

This player lets you play full screen DivX or XviD movies and includes a fast forward/rewind option.

ill try it later. i am at school at the min so i cant. will this only play avi's and divx's? can you reccomned any good utils to convert dvd's to avi files? everything i try i cant find a crack for

At the mo i think that it only plays Divx and Xvid avis (plus mp3 and ogg music files) but i hear that there are plans to extend this. DO NOT discuss Warez on the forum. There are plenty of good freeware out there for backing up your DVDs. Take a look on gordian knot or something, www.doom9.org is a good place to start. Once you have an avi on you PC, check out siu99spj's excellent guide here for converting to a smartphone friendly format. That guide refers to pocketMVP (another player) but betaplayer supports up to DivX 5.1.1!
