In my opinion, it's as good as the best Commodore64 racer and maybe some Amiga racers. But, despite looking a little naff, it's a game that gets your heart pumping. Trying to guess where the opponent cars are going to come from next keeps you on your toes.

Unfortunately, it's a little basic; For example, once you overtake a car, even if you stop, the overtaken car won't take you back (unless you're in a 1-on-1 race). This makes the game feel a little less real.

The weather (a bit of a selling point that does make the game look good) consists merely of an overlay graphic and maybe some changes in the physics; it makes no difference at all to the scenery.

I like the vibration thing and the sound is Ok, with a little hanging in the music between screens, and there is an in-game hissing that can cause a little distraction (when I first noticed it, I thought it was a great sound effect for rain, but it's there for all conditions on my MPx200).

More than once, I've subconsciously tried to tilt the phone so I can see what's over the hill, so it is a game that demands a reaction from me, but it's not great.

I give it three out of five.
