E200 - latest ROM, but my SD cards won't work! Any ideas?

This is my replacement handset and I have only just got round to loading all my programs back onto the phone. But it won't write to my Viking (Toshiba) 128MB SD card.

Taskmanager will sometimes recognise that the card is there, mostly says it's not present though! Tried to format the card and an error always occurs first time, second time taskmanager hangs indefinitely (I use Binary's)

Tried the card in my original SPV and it's fine, also good in my Digi Cam. Tried the SD card from my digi cam in the E200 and get the same errors.

This is strange because when I loaded some files onto the card (from my old phone), the E200 can read from it... but it won't delete, create new files or format!

Any ideas guys, Orange suggested I posted here... they ran out of suggestions!
