Guest wfj Posted May 19, 2004 Report Posted May 19, 2004 Good afternoon. I am greatly interested in determining of spv E200 CPU's and Mitac 8390 clockspeeds. I know that these smartphones use different type of processors. Can anyone recommend me applications suitable for my purposes? Thank you.
Guest meatgrinder Posted May 19, 2004 Report Posted May 19, 2004 e200/e100/spv classic is 133mhz, and 8390 is 300mhz when overclocked and 200mhz standard :)
Guest wfj Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 Well I know it. Thank you. Perhaps my question was not quite correct. All I want to know is if there are any programs able to determine the CPU clockspeed?
Guest meatgrinder Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 ahh :), sorry, thought you just wanted to know. If you go to Start>settings>about you can find the processor name, a quick search on google should provide you with the clock speed. not perfect, but better than a kick in the arse  Dave
Guest wfj Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 Of course this is possible. But processor clockseed is not always set to its maximum. If we take for example Siemens SX1 with its OMAP 310 (maximum frequency is about 175 MHz, if I am not mistaken) we'll see that it works in fact on 120 MHz. So I am afraid this is not a remedy.
