I just LOVE 24 with Kiether Sutherland.

I wonder if they will ever use an SPV as a gadgets?!

If you are a fan check out a little site I run on the show:

Really into 24, the 3rd series is the best so far. Watched upto episode 21 of the 3rd series and theres some very tense moments.

24 is simply the best thing on TV at the moment. Have watched all the series and whilst I still don't think that you'll ever beat the first series, the third is panning out nicely with LOTS of twists and turns.

Just wish the villains were all of Dennis Hopper/Victor Drazen calibre!

Yay! 24 is awesome! They have some pretty slick gadgetry (give it up for Jack's in-car thumbprint scanner!) And my buddie's dad's company make ruggedized tablet pcs that made it into season 2 :)

But I can't believe they don't use Smartphones! Give 'em credit for using tablet pcs, but Smartphone and PocketPC are platforms that would be right up their alley. I can't believe they're using those plain ol' Sprint phones!

Sure, you can lift a print off a severed digit, Jack, but can you watch an episode of Family Guy on your phone?

Not wise to use a "MS" Smartphone. Its important that their phones work and don't require a reboot every other day.

They use those phones for the PushRouting service! (see series 2 where Jack and the "middle eastern country" agent are trying to escape from the special forces commanders hideout)

Series 3 is cool, but where was the last time you saw series one? I saw a few eps from s1 on a plane last month for the first time since it was on BBC2 and S3 has nothing on it!

Oh, piracy is bad mmkay? :)

Just finished watching the last episode of the third series and the word that comes to mind is 'disappointed'. A shame as it started off with such promise, but not a patch on the second finale, never mind the first.

And owning the DVD set of series one, I watch it all the time!

I might end up soundng like a total geek, but...

I couldn't help noticing in the UK BBC series "Spooks" (I think thats the name... tag line was "MI5 not 9 to 5") the main bloke had an SPV when he was undercover in an army barracks... he used it to sweep the room for bugs.

It was only a quick sweep of the room so the battery life presumably wasn't a problem, but they didn't say which ROM version he had :)
