Guest charlwillis Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 I put together a homescreen for myself using RJ plugins etc and had it saved on my phone as full.home.xml. However, as soon as I turn the phone off, the next time it's switched on, the homescreen has gone back to the standard one without my plugins. I have to re-copy my altered homescreen xml back over to the phone to get it to display again. Any ideas why? Is there something I need to do to get my altered homescreen to stay in the phone when I switch it off? Thanks!
Guest midnight Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 err, where are you placing the homescreen xml???? it should be placed in IPSMApplication dataHome (or StartApplication dataHome), if you place them in the windows dir it gets erased on reboot
Guest charlwillis Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 That'll be it then. Can I still choose it as usual from Settings->Home Screen if it's in the StorageApplication DataHome folder? All that's in that folder at the moment is wallpapers (.jpgs). Thanks
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 Yes as that is where all your homescreen themes and background should be.
