Fonix Voicedial problem

Hi all,

I download first VoiceDial 1.2 from Fonix. After playing a little bit with it I found it a great program to use...

On the Fonix site i saw there was also an 2.0 version..

installed that.. and there the problem starts..

1st it installed over the 1.2 version without warning for that (what other software does). After that i couldn't use both of them.. I was getting an error from the shortcut in the start menu saying that the program of some libraries couldn't be found/loaded.

I deleted all.. first version 2 after that version 1.2 wich the phone tought was still on it.

Than i installed version 2 again.. same problem.. still saying some parts of the program couldn't be found/run.

After that i tried to start the program with smartexplorer.. The phone than puts the error 'access denied' on the screen.

I uninstalled all again.. installed it in the phones memory.. same problem.. back to the sd card again.. still same problem... :cry:

other programs run ok..

Anyone else had this problem with version 2.0...

or know a solution :?:

ps. When i install 1.2 again.. that one still works

yah same here, hope some one cud tel us why nd give us a work around, fonix s vry nice tho...

I orginally posted a fix that has worked for me and a few other over at MPX200. Anyway the 2.0 installer seems broken for the Smartphone. here is a work around. The installer is putting the fonix dlls in the wrong spot.Mine works perfect now.

I kind of figured out what is happening.

The following files installed to /ispm/windows

FnxAsrCoreCE40.dll

FonixCommon30CE.dll

FonixTtsDt30CE.dll

FonixTtsCore30CE.dll

FonixTtsDtUs30CE.dll

I moved (copy) them into the /ispm/programs/fonix/Voicedial and it works. The installer must be bad?

I have sinced installed the program on the SD card and did the same DLL move and its works great from their as well.
