Guest studioman Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Hi just bought an E200. Love it so far. Need to make the desktop look better and the battery still sucks even after the 15 mb download/upgrade. However, I wonder if I can make my own ringtones from .wav or mp3 files? I know a bit about CoolEdit, Audition - just wanted to know if there's a utility that will allow me to make a catchy ringtone from a piece of music I already have? thanks Chris

Guest nvkid909 Posted June 5, 2004 Report Posted June 5, 2004 or just buy a cheapie s/h sampler! gr8 fun & easy, as most have some kind of card slot. they record as WAV usually so can just swap card to cardreader & active sync... job done! edit) u can choose the quality/bit rate on sampler to save space.

Just made a bunch of great ringtones using my favourite music from the 60's and 70's bands. There's one thing for sure, when a mobile phone goes off in a crowded area - I 'won't get fooled again' !!!! (you youngsters won't even know what I'm talking about or will ya?) cheers Chris
