Guest jimi Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 is there anyway to put the phone numbers that are in your phonebook (not sim) onto your computer somewhere so you can keep a log?
Guest phonesmarts Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 yeah. when you sync it, the contacts should automatically be stored into your comp. just fire up MS Outlook and click on Contacts. the most recent contacts should show on the screen.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Make sure it's Outlook and not Outlook Express :) You have a copy of Outlook on the cd that came with your phone.
Guest urlimited Posted May 23, 2004 Report Posted May 23, 2004 Hi, Does anyone know how to set the default number in Outlook rather than doing it in the MPx200? Each time I wipe out my contacts in the phone I need to reset the default number individually. There must be an easier way....just have not looked for it.
Guest squall Posted May 23, 2004 Report Posted May 23, 2004 As in the number the phone will automatically dial when you select a contact. Im pretty sure you cant do in outlook im afraid
Guest phonesmarts Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 You can't. Plus, Outlook was not made especially for a phone, but for a PDA...therefore, no default number setting. Of course, if a new patch for outlook ever comes out that has this, then it'll be easier for us to do that.
