Guest Toobster Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 I have the Eleksen Soft keyboard but I cant seem to get it to work. When ever I use the alpha keys on it only zeros are put to the screen when typing SMS or emails... I'm using the eleksen_flex_keybord_driver1.0.4 EEM driver. Heelp?!!
Guest dparson Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 I'm having the same experience as well, but what I did was change the typing mode on the phone to 'T9', then back to 'abc', and the keyboard starting working correctly. I was doing all of this in the Address bar of Internet Explorer...just incase that had something to do with it as well. But after all the fiddling, I was able to compose an email and send it using Microsoft Pocket Outlook. Typing with the keyboard takes some getting used to, but it does work on my Xphone using v1.0.4 of the SoftTexter driver available at PPCW.NET Just a quick note. The number keys of my keyboard worked exactly like the number keys on the phone. When my phone was in 'abc' mode, pressing '2' on the keyboard resulted in the letter 'a', just as number 2 does on the phone. So obviously the keyboard driver was working at that point, just not exactly in the right way. Luckily playing with the typing mode of the phone caused the keyboard driver to start behaving correctly. Hope some of this helps, good luck!
