DVD to Playable File On SPV

I have been trying for weeks now to convert a dvd to something that will play on my SPV E200.

I would be very grateful if somebody could tell me which prgrams to use and which settings to use in each program because everything i try doesnt seem to work.

I will elaborate if needs be, just ask

Also depends if you want divx, mpeg, xvid etc...

As for ripping the vob files from the DVD I think you'll have to try google for that as it probably goes against forum rules.

I usually use CladDVD, DVD2AVI or TMPEnc (depending on divX or Mpeg), Virtual Dub with settings found on this site.

Go to handango and download Pocket-DVD

It's the easiest one-step method to rip DVDs into great quality AVIs that play on your smartphone using BetaPlayer (my choice) or PocketMVP

I use VirtualDub to encode/resize.

seems much faster (smooth) than Xvid1.0. I use QP3 or 4 for quality (this gives around 95% quality) and gives results coparable to DivX 5 at 700kbps.

Quality is avesome, speed is great (I get 138% result with benchmark).

My files are usually 220 width x around_90 height, 700kbps video, 64kbps 44KHz mono audio.
