wm2003 and sync question

This morning I got my mpx200 :lol:

The phone is excellent! 8)

Once again I will have to find hits 'n tips for my phone!

I really like it, but I think that the sw problems are not totaly solved (I've been a spv user)! The phone hasn't crashed yet, however it it a bit slow!

Well, let me start with a classical question: Is the wm2003 update going to be released for our phone? In the microsoft phone newsgroup was said that is going to be relaeased this week and that the main problem is that motorola doesn't know how to distribute the update... :roll:

Another question: How can I sync the phone without charging it through the USB port?

My last question (something that I just noticed): I have several folders in my inbox! How can I sync emails from all folders? Now it syncs only the inbox folder and not the subfolders... :roll:

I don't think Motorola will be releasing the WM2003 update for MPx200 as it would

make more sense and money from their point of view because less people wiould buy

the upcoming Motorola's with WM2003. And they are releasing MPx220 and 100

sometime later this year. Don't hold me to that tho as you never know :)

Your phone will charge from the usb cable while it is plugged into the pc :)

As for syncing from more than one folder I do not think it is possible, unless I've forgotten :?

As regards the subfolders, I just found how to do it... :wink:

Just open the active sync, go to "options", double click "inbox" and check the folders you want to sync :wink:

Unlikely but no one really knows. 2003 was given to developers and press

but not released to the public. Updates etc are normally down to the

network and not the manufacturer.

Thats true with HTC, but the official At&t line is that it is for motorola to release updates for the mpx200, not At&t. Although At&t do operate differently from orange so you never know...

You could use infared to sync if you have infared on your PC, if not you can buy an infared adapter for $10.
