SPV email problems

First of all, I'm using a Virgin UK SIM in the phone. When trying to send e-mail, I always get a message saying that the recipient is invalid or words to those effect. I know the e-mail address is right, so anyone know what's wrong?

I've used many smtps I've found on the net, so which am I meant to use?

You have to use the smtp of the network you are on ie

for Orange it's smtp.orange.net
