Avi files not playing with pocketmpv or betaplayer

I converted a music video using pocket divx encoder and put the file on the sd card storage when i try to open using betaplayer it just goes back to startmenu and when i try in pocketmpv the sound plays for 1second then stops

are there any special setttings i have to use in pocket divx encoder

to get them playing better in pocketmvp go to this thread and download the .dll file thats been posted and find the folder where pocketmvp been installed on your phone and replace the divx.dll with the one you downloaded...i dont know about beta player, its still a new application so its in development so when a new version comes out it might work better:

the phone is the mitac mio 8390

it should matter, although the thread i pointed you too says its for the e200 (which is a 2003 device) i used it on my e100 (which is 2002 device) with no problems. It wont do any damage, if it makes pocketmvp stop working you just uninstall it and reinstall.

its best if you use betaplayer to play video files. it seems to be a lot more stable than pMVP.

i got same phone a mitac 8390 its wierd i see the movie in about 1 sec then its turn off
