Guest jeRrRKKKK Posted May 23, 2004 Report Posted May 23, 2004 whenever i receive a message, my phone plays a .wav... and this tone doesn't stop until the .wav ends... this happens also when my phone displays warnings and questions... the music just doesn't stop!!! also, my msn keeps on getting disconnected whenever calls come in... once it tries to reconnect, it keeps on asking to use my alternative gprs connection, cause my primary gprs connection is set to passthru.. so i have to press and press and press... n everytime the prompt comes up, the music plays once... so after awhile, i'll have 4 or 5 .wav playing... sever battery eater... whenever low batt, the phone sounds every 3 minutes... the last thing you need during a low batt situation is for the phone to light up and play music for you... how do i stop all these???
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted May 23, 2004 Report Posted May 23, 2004 Better assign a short tone dude and not a full-length wav file. :) Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest fallenone Posted May 23, 2004 Report Posted May 23, 2004 Seems like your notifications are set to loop. Try checking your 'Script' keys under SMS and LowBattery Key (HKCUControl PanelSounds). Just remove the 'a" and 'r' on the value or just delete the key all together (if you haven't modified or installed any tweak on those keys yet). Hope this helps.
