Mitac Mio will not turn on

Hi all...

I have a serious problem with my Mitac 8380. I accidentally placed the phone on a wet surface vertically - so a little water got into the base of the phone (where the ActiveSync USB connector is).

Problem is now, it will not turn on. Every time I try to turn it on, the LCD screen becomes bright and the LED lights come on, but nothing else. When I press the vol up/down button, the LCD on the front of the phone also flashes.

I tried a hard reset...no luck there either.

Any ideas??? Or is the phone beyond fixing?

I left the phone for several hours and gave it another try...and luckily, it came on!!! :lol: Everything appears back to normal, the phone works just fine. Whew !!! :)
