Home Screen Freezes when I have missed Call

ok for some reason when i get a missed call and flip open my phone i cant do anything Missed Call 1 is highlighted and i cant move to startmenu or anything , I also tried calling my phone at this "frozen stage" and the phone rings and i get option to Accept or Reject call but noithing hapen when i press those buttons then after it says missed calls 2 but its still frozen..... any suggestions...could it be my wmv ringtone causing this?

What phone do you have an mpx200?

I presume you mean .wav ringtone and not wmv :)

I've not heard of this problem on the mpx200 before but it was known on early SPV phones.

It could be down to the ringtone but to be sure try another one. If that does not cure the problem a hard reset may be in order :?

its a mitacmio 8390 and i changed the ringtone and that seems tohave fixed the problem, 8390 can have wmv as ringtones aswell

So at least some of my advice was ok then :)

Sorry as I do not have a mio 8390 I do not know the full workings of them :lol:

PS I also presume you mean wma and not wmv as one is for audio the other is for video. So if you did use a wmv file to run a video file as a ringtone could be your problem.
