MMS from Nokia 6230

I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but I cannot receive MMS messages from the Nokia 6230. I seem to be able to receive them from other brand phones except this one. I was able to receive them on the Qtek 7070 but not on the 8080. I spoke to Optus yesterday and they told me it had something to do with the way the phone handles the Nokia compression. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so how do you resolve it?

i have a problem whereby if I send mms to my gf's E700 it is all blurred, something to do with incompatibilty of the two phones, great!
